Step 1 — Domain Setup

Use your existing domain — or we help you get one.

If your college already has a domain (mamw.org, college.ac.in, etc.), we use it as-is. No new purchase needed. If you don't have one yet, we guide you through purchasing one from GoDaddy or BigRock for approximately ₹800–₹2,500 per year — paid directly by your institution. Either way, your domain ownership stays with your college permanently.

Step 2 — DNS Configuration

We point your domain to the Sahasra Platform servers.

We update your domain's A Record — one single DNS entry — to route your college website traffic to our hosting servers. This is a one-time change that takes less than 5 minutes to make. DNS propagation (the time for the change to spread across the internet) takes 1–24 hours.

Step 3 — Platform & SSL Setup

Your college gets its own completely isolated environment.

Once the domain is live on our servers, we provision your institution on the platform. This includes: a dedicated public website for your college, a separate admin panel, individual staff logins, and an SSL certificate (HTTPS) installed automatically.

Step 4 — Content Migration & Go-Live

We move everything from your old website into the new CMS.

Our team migrates all your existing content: every page, image, PDF, department card, and notice. Once migration is complete, you review on a test URL. After approval and a 2–4 hour training session for your staff — we switch live.
